How much is the 4Ps cash grant, and how is it released?

Last updated: 2026-07-12 · Educational content; not legal advice.

Short answer

RA 11310 sets minimum monthly grants per qualified household: a health and nutrition grant of not less than ₱750 per month (for 12 months a year), plus an education grant per child of not less than ₱300 (day care/elementary), ₱500 (junior high), or ₱700 (senior high) per month, for up to 10 months a school year and for a maximum of three (3) children per household. The grants are released through the household's designated cash card / payout channel, and the exact amount a family receives depends on the number and school levels of its qualified children — confirm current rates with the DSWD.

Frequently asked

What are the minimum 4Ps grant amounts?

Under RA 11310 Section 7: a health and nutrition grant of not less than ₱750/month (12 months/year) per household, and an education grant per child of not less than ₱300 (day care/elementary), ₱500 (junior high), or ₱700 (senior high) per month for up to 10 months a school year.

Is there a cap on how many children are covered?

Yes. The education grant covers a maximum of three (3) children per household. The health and nutrition grant is a single per-household amount regardless of household size.

How is the money released?

Grants are paid through the household's designated payout channel (typically a cash card or authorized conduit). Because the actual amount depends on how many qualified children a household has and their school levels — and because the minimums may be updated — confirm the current release with DSWD.
