How do I file a DTI complaint?

Short answer
File a consumer complaint with the Department of Trade and Industry when a business sells you a defective product, refuses a valid warranty or refund, engages in deceptive sales, or otherwise violates the Consumer Act (RA 7394). You can file online at dti.gov.ph/consumerprotection, call the DTI hotline at 1-384, or go to the nearest DTI provincial or city office. Provide your identification, the seller's details, a dated narrative, the receipts and warranty, and the relief you want (refund, replacement, or repair); DTI mediates and can adjudicate.
